Wow, harsh words.
Regardless, it is a cartoon where some of the characters are wearing clothes - while others 'don't'. The clothes will emphasize that other characters are wearing nothing but their furs, scales, etc. Characters with shells might get away with it.
I'm telling you now, while there's still time for adjustments.

All I am saying is: Out of the 8 characters presented one is an animal, 4 humanoids are naked, 3 are wearing clothes. If those without clothes exist within the same universe, they are established as temporarily naked/nudists to the audience.
It would not be a problem if they were all pantsless - but that's not the design you presented. It's all about establishing a narrative.
For better understanding:
Imagine Character A going into a store, picking up some items and then leaving. All well and good, but if Character B in the same scene then walks up to the counter, pulls out a purse and pays for their goods in front of the camera, then Character A is established as a thief in the eyes of the audience. Even Character A has a credit score with that shop, the shop owner would have to be established as taking notice of which items they took.
If Character A is still browsing by the time Character B and the camera are leaving the shop then they are 'not' established as a thief.
I hope that was understandable to you. Because I'm afraid I cannot make it any clearer...

@Yatsufusa its really not the same.... theyre animals, not people. So I would imagine wearing pants is optional as a fashion choice. Whats even worse than sounding angry is sounding nitpicky, and you are really sounding like that. Sheesh
